of her work below.
Hand Painted Tile by Magda Csihás
Magda Csihás has produced countless designs of her own creation
on tile and other objects. Her well-known Casitas©, the
trademark of her hand painted work, is a representation
of little houses and villages composed of individually glazed
tile chips adhered to a hand painted tile background, creating
an exceptional tridimensional effect. All tiles and vessels
are coated with high-fire glazes to ensure beauty and permanence
and ready for display or use. The designs are original,
with some based on religious and ethnic motifs from various
cultures around the world. Their uniqueness guarantees that
although similar, no two are alike, so you’ll have the only
one of its kind. Pricing varies: 6”x6” tiles are $36.00
to $48.00, 4”x4” tiles start at $24.00, and Pyramid boxes
are $58.00. Also available are mugs, plates and bowls. (shipping,
tax, insurance, and handling charges are extra.) For more
info, please contact her at: www.magdacsihas.com

Spirit Wind Love Flutes
In 1990, Stephen DeRuby purchased his first flute from Tom
White Eagle, and his journey began, he started playing and
making flutes of his own design. At Spirit Wind,
Stephen not only creates Native American flutes, he composes,
records, and produces his own music using various ethnic
acoustic instruments. While creating the Fire Gems
Studio web site, Debbie discovered an album entitled
Sacred Spaces, and a song entitled "Opening," all created
by Stephen DeRuby. She was so inspired by its beauty, it
is now the inspirational music heard when our Fire
Gem's home page opens. We urge you to visit Stephen's
web site at www.deruby.com,
hear more of his visionary music, and see how he honors
the teachings of the Native American culture.
