Glass fusion is the focus in this striking sculpture, and imposing face. This African styled shield has a curved black ebony base, with a kiln-fired mask overlaid in a rich palette of gold, red, pink and sky blue. Note the 11 hand-tied fetishes constructed from leather, imitation rabbit fur, suede, bird feathers, and antique African stone beads. This masterful piece measures 16” in diameter and 42” from top to bottom.
