The "Texas Hill Country" was the inspiration for this 13 foot in diameter Geodesic dome. This majestic piece rises 30 feet in height and is constructed using 48 individually connected stained glass panels. The various leaded panels encompass unique features such as fused glass butterflies with 18" wing spans, hand-painted, kiln-fired cloud panels, and Texas wildlife with painted details. It was a daunting task to complete this dome within the 1 year time table.

One could sit beneath this piece, and stare at it for hours.
