Surrounding the bevel is sterling silver wire that has been twisted into a braid design with forty-five soldered pearls added as accents. Also soldered to the circular bevel are three faceted-cut royal blue German jewels, four iridescent glass jewels with a deep purple cast, and at the crest is a rich Amethyst glass jewel.
